Genealogy and the early clan website

Phil began researching his family in 1982 and later served as Internet liaison for the McManus Clan Association. His original AOL website was http://members.aol.com/manus/ (archived website). The historical account dates the website’s launch to April 1997 and credits Jim Maguire with helping create the original pages.

Phil’s original museum idea and his collection of documents, photographs and memorabilia form the starting point for the McManus Museum.
