The New McManus Family History Website Is Live

Today we are launching a new version of McManus Family History—a public, growing archive for people researching McManus families and the places, records, and stories connected with them.

The site has been reorganized so that research can be explored in more than one way. A person profile can connect to family groups, life events, places, photographs, and supporting documents. Historical articles remain an important part of the archive, while the new record pages make it easier to follow the evidence behind a family connection.

What you can explore

The Kilronan records were abstracted with great care by Elizabeth Gallagher, Rose McManus, Annette McManus, Peter McManus, and Michael McManus. Researchers should still consult the original records wherever possible; links and credits accompany the collection.

This launch is a beginning rather than an endpoint. More people, families, church records, city-directory entries, images, and source material will be added as they are prepared. If you recognize a connection, have a correction, or can contribute evidence, please get in touch.
