  • DEATH - 20 JUN 1920 • Wentworth, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
  • MARRAIGE - 15 OCT 1864 • Enniskillen, Fermanagh, Ireland - Joseph Richard Lomax/Lomas

Trade/Profession:

Charlotte McManus was a seamstress. The cause of her death was myocarditis as described on the death certificate. On the certificate her father was listed as Jos. A. McManus, born in Ireland. Obviously, this must be an error as her father is listed as Richard McManus on her marriage certificate.

Lately, I have come to believe, that the listing of the Father on Charlotte’s death certificate was not an error. I cannot believe that my GF would have made such a glaring error as he was an intelligent and articulate person. I am now questioning whether or not I have the correct marriage certificate. So, I am now searching for a “Joseph A. McManus”. Hence the reason for joining this forum. - Joe
