- Served in 88th Regiment of Foot - Connaught Rangers - 09.05.1809 to 16.06.1830 - total service 21 yrs 39 days.
In action at BUSACO, FUENTES D’HOXOR, CONDAD RODRIGO, DALAMANCA, VITTORIAO, NIVE, ORTHES, PIRENEESE, TOULOUSE and at the siege of BADAJOZ.
He was with the Regiment in NORTH AMERICA and at the storming of PLATTS BARGE. He was wounded at BUSACO in the right arm by a gunshot wound.
He received two wounds of the head from a shell at the storming of BADAJOZ and was wounded in the right thigh by grapeshot at VITTORIA.
