Reading and source limits

The item headed Last Tribute to James M’Manus reports a funeral “this morning” from his late residence, followed by Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, with Fathers Dempsey and Doran, and interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

It names pallbearers Sheriff Frank Barnet, Attorney J. J. MacDonald, Assistant Fire Chief George MacDonald and P. Kisch (reading provisional). Compare these spellings with the Call report; do not silently harmonize them.

No masthead or issue date is visible. The July 30 dateline belongs to the separate theft report above, so it is not direct dating evidence for this item. The contents are consistent with James’s previously reported July 1906 funeral, but the exact citation needs confirmation. Unrelated surrounding articles are not part of the family record.
