“Also her son Thomas” explicitly states that relationship. The other shared inscriptions establish association but do not individually state every relationship. Kevin identifies Patrick as Mary Hopkins McManus’s son-in-law and Ellen as her granddaughter.
Mary’s age 80 differs slightly from the certificate’s 81 years and 3 months. Thomas’s age 47 implies about 1834–1835 rather than 1838. Bridget’s inscribed date differs by one day from the tree’s 21 November 1895. These readings are preserved rather than silently harmonized.
